Pedal for the EnvıronmentHaberler
Sports training of our project titled "Outdoor Sports for Sustainable Environment", which we carry out within the scope of Erasmus+ Sports program supported by the European Commission Education, Audio-Visual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), continues.
We organized an event with the slogan of "Pedal for the Environment" in cooperation with Sorgun Youth Association (SORGED) and Yozgat Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate held on July 11, 2023.
Our event started with Zero Waste and Environmental Awareness Training at the Yozgat Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate. Young people were trained on Zero Waste and Environmental Awareness by Environmental Engineer Tolgahan. After the training, they were informed about the use of bicycles and the importance of using bicycles for health.
We pedaled for the environment up to Kirazlı pond. After reaching Kirazlı pond, we did an environmental cleaning here.
Mayor of Yozgat, Mr. Celal KÖSE, who attended our event, chatted with the youth and answered their questions.
